Would you like to find out what your thing is in IT? We’d like to tell you about our three apprenticeships in the fields of system integration, application development and digitalisation management.

- Modification, development and operation of connected systems
- Detection and processing of faults and implementation of additional services
- Information security
At the end of three years you take your final German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) exams. Together, we best prepare you for the examinations.

You help to design innovative software solutions that take processes at REWE digital and all REWE Group companies to the next level. What you do therefore has a real impact on the digital future.

Apprenticeship FAQ
Here we answer the questions most commonly asked so you can best prepare yourself to apply for a job with us. If you still have questions, you are welcome to get in touch with us personally.
You can apply directly online. Go to Jobs and simply click on “Apply now”. This will either take you to the REWE Group career portal or straight to the form. An online assistant will guide you through the process step by step so you don’t forget anything.
That’s cool that you can see yourself in several roles. Please apply for each position separately as different departments or teams are often involved in the selection process. Thank you.
The test only takes around 40–50 minutes and consists of five to seven different modules, depending on which profession you have applied for. You have five days from receipt of the invitation e-mail to complete the test. You can interrupt the test when you have completed a module and resume it at a later point in time within the given time frame. If you pass the test, we’d like to call you to become better acquainted with you.
The phone call gives us a chance to get to know each other. You should introduce yourself and in particular explain your motivation for your application or your chosen profession. But don’t worry: just be yourself and take the opportunity to ask us any questions you might have. If we expect you to prepare for a certain subject, we’ll let you know about this by e-mail.
On Applicant Day we will invite you to one of our sites. You don’t need much preparation, as you can prepare all the exercises here on-site. However, to avoid unnecessary stress on the day, you should plan your journey and where to park, etc. in advance. Plan a bit of extra time in case you get stuck in a traffic jam or a train is cancelled. On the day itself you don’t need to be nervous, everything will be explained to you in detail. Be authentic when you do the exercises, just like you are in “real life”. Because that’s the only way we can really get to know you. We look forward to meeting you.
